About Me!

Humm, where do I start? How bout I tell you how I got to where I am now. Once upon a time long long ago, a couple decided to get it on. Well this couple was my parents. Next thing you know my mom is prego, and 8 months later out pops good ole me. I was named Corey, and I was born May 9th, 1975. And yes I said 8 months, I was a preemie. Damn I’m old, but at least I don't look or feel like it.

Well about 18 years pass, and I am still living in the same town I was born in, it was called Dickinson, ND. It’s a small town, about 15,000 to 20,000 peeps. I graduated from High School there, and went right into college. I also attended college in Dickinson; I went to Dickinson State University where I graduated from there 5 years later (yes I did the five year plan) in May of 1998. My college graduation was also on the same day as my Birthday, so lets just say it was a wild and crazy day/night! I graduated with a Bachelor in Business, minor in Computer Science.

Shortly after I graduated, I got convinced to move out to Bozeman, MT to help start off a company called Advanced Computer Media. We had a spot right downtown on main, and it was a great time out there. Bozeman is a very nice place, surrounded by mountains. The cost of living was outrageous though, because there are 2 ski resorts within 30 miles of the place. One was call Big Sky, where all the tourists went, and the other was called Bridger Bowl. Both are very large mountains, and it would take more then a few days to hit all the runs. One of the kewl things when I lived out there, is Montana had no speed limit then, and I could FLY out to Bozeman anytime I was driving from home.

It was not going the way I planned out there, so I decided to move back home to Dickinson about a year later, and try to find something better to do with my life. My dad also passed away from his long hard battle with cancer while I was out there, so it was time for a change. I had a few buddies that lived in Sioux Falls, SD, and also a few aunts and an uncle, along with a lot of cousins, so I started applying for some jobs there. I got hired by Bankfirst to work in there ISP department. I did that along with work a little in the web development group. I even worked a bit on the Vikings webpage! Well in about a year, the ISP Dept at Bankfirst took a dive, and then closed the whole department down, so here I am again looking for a job. I currently had part time jobs at GNC in the mall, and also bartending at the Best Western Ramkota Hotel.

After applying a few places here and there, I got a job at this company called Revonet. It was a fun job, it is a sales and marketing company for the internet. Inside of Revonet, I worked for many other companies like Fortel, Fatwire, Microsoft, GE ITS, and I also got moved out the Cincinnati for a few months to work for a company called PC on Call.

About 2 years later, I came across an opportunity to become owner of my own business, it was called Training Partners. So I jumped at that, and we converted to a New Horizons Computer Learning Center about a year later, and here I am now, and also a proud owner of my first house, I closed on July 9th!
